Town staff will lead the plan's development with the consultant team, be available for questions and receiving input from the community, and guide implementation after plan adoption.
Project Overview
Collierville is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan. The Plan will help the Town maintain its character, enhance the quality of life for its residents, and support economic development. The Comprehensive Plan will serve as the Town's road map through the midpoint of the century. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Planning Commission, and Town Staff will use the Plan to make important land use, budgeting, and development decisions.
Throughout the planning process, the Town will host a variety of community meetings, surveys, and engagement opportunities to allow the community to help shape the vision for Collierville. Please stay engaged and participate throughout the process, as engagement events will seek input from the community on a variety of topics.

The week kicks off with a special presentation by Dr. Tristan Cleveland, an acclaimed urban planner from Happy Cities. Dr. Cleveland will discuss strategies for reimagining suburban areas into vibrant, walkable, and complete communities.

Design Charrette (Public Workshop)

The centerpiece of the week is the Collierville 2050 Design Charrette, a multi-day "drop-in" drawing session held at Carriage Crossing. Participants are encouraged to stop by at their convenience to provide direct feedback on vision statements and development options that will define the look and feel of the town for the next 25 years.

Final Report-out

The week will conclude with a Final Report-out on the evening of May 14 at Town Hall. Participants can view a summary of the week's input during an open house in the foyer before a formal presentation in the Council Chambers.

Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
The Town-appointed Steering Committee will assist with public engagement, act as a sounding board for the consultant team, and review draft Plan concepts and content to help align the Plan with community priorities.
