Project Overview

The City of La Grange is in the process of updating its Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Plan to help maintain the city’s character, enhance the quality of life for its residents, and support future growth. This plan will serve as La Grange’s roadmap for the next 5 to 10 years, guiding decisions on recreation, land use, and community development.

The City Council, Planning Board, and City Staff will use the plan to make important choices about parks, trails, and recreational facilities to ensure they meet the evolving needs of residents.

Throughout the planning process, the City will host a variety of community meetings, surveys, and engagement opportunities to allow residents to shape the vision for La Grange’s parks and open spaces.

Things for our kids to do. A pool, skatepark. We live in a comunity of roughly 5,000 people and the pool is being demolished? Ridiculous.

Indoor/Outdoor pool, like they have in Brenham.
